Which reactions in photosynthesis require light?
To put it simply, there are two reactions in photosynthesis, the light dependent reaction and the light independent reaction. And as the name implies, the light dependent reaction requires light.
While the light independent reaction of photosynthesis does not require light but can still occur in the presence of light, the light dependent reaction of photosynthesis needs light as energy to convert CO2 and H2O into glucose and other substrates.

Light is necessary for the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis, which take place in the thylakoid membranes of chloroplasts and involve the absorption of light energy by chlorophyll molecules in order to produce NADPH and ATP, which are then utilized in the light-independent reactions (like the Calvin cycle) that result in the production of sugars.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
