What is the part of the earth that makes up most f its mass?

Answer 1

The earth's inner core is composed of solid or semi-solid iron and nickel, which then becomes a viscous liquid to form the outer core.
This build-up of iron constitutes most of the mass of the earth

The earth's composition has long been theorized to consist of different layers of material with relatively uniform boundaries; in the late 1600s, there was even a suggestion that the earth's center was hollow.

Based on measurements of seismic activity, earthquake waves, and material densities, scientists now believe that the material is a solid-like core of iron that migrated to the planet's center due to its greater density. The reason for the minerals' volatility was the intense heat of the colliding materials combined with nuclear energy from radioactive elements.

New stuff: To create the ideal 3D model of the inner earth, take an almost spherical, round avocado with lots of bumps on the skin. Cut the avocado in half and pull apart to reveal the layers of the earth: the skin is the earth's crust, the fleshy part is the earth's mantel, and the pit is the earth's core.

Remarkably, the avocado exhibits these three layers in proportions that are relatively close to those proposed for the earth.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
