Science is composed of many beautiful subjects which need each other to survive. In this case, biology relies on chemistry to describe many chemical processes in living organisms, such as protein synthesis, respiration, photosynthesis (for plants), and also explains many cycles, such as the Krebs cycle or Calvin cycle.

Biological organisms are made up of chemicals themselves. So it would be useful, if not essential, to study chemistry if you want to understand biology. This gives an idea to you of how something reacts when another substance is added to it.

Also, complex organic molecules in your body, such as carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins, all require chemistry to understand their reactions and structure.
