Protein synthesis is the process of what?

Answer 1

Forming proteins like enzymes from amino acids from the information coded on the DNA.

The intricate structure of proteins is determined by their amino acid sequence, which enables the proteins to fold into specific shapes that confer organic activity.

Each codon, or group of three DNA bases, codes for a particular amino acid, which is then assembled on the ribosomes to synthesis proteins. The amino acids are coded for by the DNA in groups of three bases.

A single error during the synthesis of a protein can result in a protein that is inactive and malfunctioning. Fortunately, the cell has organelles that can degrade these malfunctioning proteins, allowing the amino acids to be recycled into other proteins!
