In general, there are 2 types of special right triangles. Type 1. Right triangle that is half of a equilateral triangle. Its angle measures are: 30 , 60 and 90 deg. Type 2. Right triangle that has its side measures in the ratio 3:4:5. Use of special Right triangles. In the old time, people used special right triangle, with side ratio 3:4:5, to figure out a right angle on the field. They can also find the measures of the 3 sides of a right triangle, knowing the ratio and one of the 3 sides.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
