What is the relationship between nucleic acids and chromosomes?

Answer 1

nucleic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid, is monomer for DNA and DNA is compactly packed into Chromosomes

Deoxyribonucleic acid is monomer for the DNA in the organism. It holds the information about the proper functioning of various aspects of an organisms' life. DNA for most of organisms is very large that it is very difficult to organize it if kept randomly.

So, to organize the large DNA, DNA is compressed into chromatin (10nm thick fibre) which is then compressed to thicker chromatin (30nm thick fibre) then again it is compressed into the form of chromosome.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
