Homeotic imbalance is the disability of the internal environment to remain in equilibrium in the face of internal , external and environmental influences.

When cells in the body encounter deficiencies, such as those brought on by an unhealthy diet or exposure to toxins, homeostatic imbalance takes place.

Three main factors can cause homeostatic imbalances: 1) internal factors like aging and genetics; 2) external factors like poor nutrition, physical activity, mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse; and 3) environmental factors like exposure to toxins.

Numerous diseases can arise from prolonged periods of imbalance in the body's internal system, and stress plays a major role in influencing physiological homeostasis.

A major factor thought to be behind most diseases is cellular malfunction resulting from homeostatic imbalance.
