What do viruses actually do to the human body?

Answer 1

Viruses inject their DNA or RNA into body cells and re-program cells to make more viruses, and/or change into tumor cells.

Hi there!

Opportunistic proteins encircling nucleic acids, or genes, are what make up viruses.

Before they become activated into major machines inside human body cells, they are largely dormant. These'machines' are those that have inserted their nucleic acid, which is either DNA or RNA, into the genome of the human cell.

It can be inferred that the human cell is being reprogrammed by the introduction of new, 'foreign' DNA, resulting in a variety of effects. For example, some human cells become hibernator 'nests' for the virus, like the herpes virus; others allow the virus to spread or multiply rapidly; still other cells gradually transform into tumor cells, as is the case with the human papilloma virus and genital warts.

I hope this is helpful.
