What do humans and fungi have in common?

Answer 1

Our intracellular structure and the way we obtain energy.

In terms of basic biology, however, we can identify two key differences and similarities between fungi and humans in comparison to other groups of living things. Firstly, both share an intracellular structure known as eukaryotic cells (such as plants and protozoa), which, in contrast to bacteria, have a membrane surrounding their nuclei. Secondly, we obtain our energy differently: fungi and humans are heterotrophic (unlike plants, algae, and some bacteria and protozoa), meaning that we obtain our energy from eating other organisms rather than creating our own food like plants do.
