In turns out that our immune systems needs some training exposure to bacteria, viruses, etc in order to develop properly, especially when we are young. Too much shielding from dirt and grime, and creating highly antiseptic home environments, may be not be good for our immune systems in the long-run. Having a robust and strong immune system can therefore help you to avoid, at least some of the times, when you may really need an antibiotic to treat a really life threatening infection.
