How does weak force differ from the other fundamental forces?

Answer 1

The force carriers of the weak force have mass and there is more then one of them (#W^{+}#, #W^{-}# and #Z# bosons).

In the typical Model.

Photons are the electromagnetic force's force carriers; they are massless and move at the speed of light.

Gluons, which are massless particles that move at the speed of light, are the force carriers of the strong force.

Gravitons are the force carriers of the gravitational force; they are massless particles that move at the speed of light.

The force carriers of the weak force are the #W^{+}#, #W^{-}# and #Z# bosons, which have mass and cannot travel at the speed of light. They have mass because of how they interact with the Higgs boson.

Answer 2

The weak force is different from the other fundamental forces in that it is responsible for certain types of radioactive decay and neutrino interactions. It is much weaker than the electromagnetic force and the strong nuclear force, and it has a much shorter range.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
