The earth was created by the hot particles of the infant solar system clinging to one another.

The idea is fairly straightforward and holds true for all of creation. As stars form, they pull energy from nearby hydrogen pools, and as they get bigger, their gravitational pull pulls everything in its path to revolve around them.

A basic tenet of physics states that an atom will most likely gravitationally gravitate toward its nearest center of mass if it is heavier.

There are four pools of rocky gravity in our solar system that formed early on. Rocks, boulders, pebbles, and dust were formed and eventually drew into the planet they came into contact with.

These rocks and pebbles were all in orbit around the new sun, but the orbits were not circular; instead, most of them were highly elliptical, which leads to the rocks eventually colliding with one of the four inner planets.

The next four planets were left to collect the much lighter gases after the inner planets had taken up the majority of the solid matter.
