How do bryophytes differ from vascular plants?

Answer 1

The main difference is the absence of vascular system in bryophytes which is present in vascular plants.

True xylem and phloem, or the vascular system, are absent from bryophytes, whereas they are present in vascular plants.

In both, the sporophytic and gametophytic generational cycles alternate.

In vascular plants, on the other hand, the main plant is the sporophyte, and in bryophytes, the main plant is the gametophyte, and sporophyte is reduced and parasitic on the gametophyte, whether it be partial or complete.
