How are endoskeletons and exoskeletons similar?

Answer 1

Although they might seem like opposites, endo and exo skeletons are actually more similar than you think.

Endo and exo skeletons are both skeletal structures that have a similar purpose: to 1) support the organism that it’s in 2) provide protection to important organs or body parts and 3) give the organism structure so it can preform the tasks it needs to survive.

Unfortunately, Both of these skeletons can also break but they both can regenerate through shedding or cell mitosis.

Both of them are also hard, tough, and durable although they are made of different fibers and nutrients.
