What is the importance of biodiversity in the biosphere?
Each species rely on each other to survive as every organism has a vital role to play in this ecosystem.
Biodiversity is far most important for the existence of the species.
It also facilitates variation among the organisms interacting.
Biodiversity facilitates the storage of nutrient, pollution break down etc.
For humans it also generates the social benefits such as employment, research and recreation.
These are the reasons to why biodiversity is important for the ecosystem and the humans.

Biodiversity is important in the biosphere because it contributes to ecosystem stability, resilience, and productivity. It supports essential ecosystem functions such as nutrient cycling, pollination, and pest control. Biodiversity also provides a wide range of ecosystem services that are vital for human well-being, including clean air and water, climate regulation, and food security. Additionally, biodiversity enhances the aesthetic, cultural, and recreational value of natural environments. Overall, biodiversity is crucial for maintaining the health and functioning of ecosystems, which in turn sustains life on Earth.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
