Asyndeton is the absence of a conjunction between parts of a sentence, diacope is the repetition of a word/phrase.

Asyndeton is when conjunctions between phrases in a sentence are eliminated. An example of this would be "Without looking, without making noise, without talking." The word "and" is omitted between "noise" and " without".

Diacope is when a word or phrase is repeated with one or more words in between. An example would be in the phrase " To be or not to be". The phrase "to be" is repeated with 2 words in between.
