Hence at #0.50# per kilogram, one can get #3/0.50=6# kilogram.
When rate goes to #$1.00# per kilogram, one can get #3/1=3# kilogram
Observe that as #x# increases #y# decreases but #xy# remains constant at #3#.
Hence relation is inverse and constant of variation is #3#.
