Where is the occipital lobe in relation to the frontal lobe of the cerebrum?

Posterior to the frontal lobe is occipital lobe. To be more exact: posterioinefrior to the occipital lobe.

As you can see in the figure, the frontal lobe of a skull is anterior to the parietal, superior to the maxilla and mandible, anterior to the sphenoid, temporal and occipital.

Note that these lobes of the skull correspond to the lobes of the cerebrum. Accordingly, you might want to use this as an orientation as this might be easier to remember, I guess.

As you may see in this figure that cerebral lobes are not the same size as the skull lobes are. Regardless of it, the anatomical position that is written above is valid for this one too.
