Lymph is a fluid that leaks out of capillaries, which are one cell thick and are responsible for distributing blood to tissues. The fluid that leaks out of capillaries is collected in lymph vessels, which then pump the lymphatic fluid through lymphatic hearts in the circulatory system to maintain a constant volume of circulating fluid.
