What veins carry oxygenated blood?

The pulmonic vein carry oxygenated blood.

Like the pulmonary artery, which transports blood from the heart to the lungs, the main purpose of the arteries is to carry blood away from the heart.

Similar to how the pulmonic vein returns blood from the lungs to the heart, the main purpose of veins is to return blood to the heart.

The Pulmonary Artery carries deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs and when the Pulmonary Vein carries oxygenated blood from the lungs back to the heart.

Arteries carry blood away from the heart.
Veins carry blood toward the heart.

Arteries carry blood rich in oxygen, oxygenated.
Veins carry blood with carbon dioxide, deoxygenated.

The only time this is not the case is in the circulatory system is when the Pulmonary Artery (8) carries deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs and when the Pulmonary Vein (9) carries oxygenated blood from the lungs back to the heart.
