What time period was the earth created in?
About 4.5 billion years ago.
The story begins with a cloud of cold, disturbed dust particles from a nearby supernova that began to collapse under gravity, forming a massive spinning disk known as a solar nebula. As the disk spun, it separated into rings, with the Sun at its center and the particles in the outer rings becoming large, fiery balls of gas and molten liquid that cooled, condensed, and took on solid form, eventually becoming the planets that we know today. This process began approximately 4.5 billion years ago.
The Earth's surface was hit by meteorites and volcanic activity in the beginning, and condensing water vapor—possibly from comets—accumulated in the atmosphere, cooling the molten outer layer of the planet to form a solid crust and create the oceans. The Moon was also formed during this time, following a strike by a body the size of Mars on the early Earth. Around 3.8 billion years ago, Earth started to cool significantly and life forms started to emerge.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
