Lymphatic system itself is organ. It influences immunity system .

Vertebrates have complete systems made up of lymphatic glands, lymph vessels, and lymph hearts.

Fluid called lymph seeps out of capillaries; the plasma that seeps out of capillaries needs to be replaced. Lymphatic vessels and lymph hearts pump lymph back into the main blood stream to maintain the final volume of blood.

Lymph glands are found where there is a higher risk of infection; for example, the tonsils are lymph glands. Lymphatic glands are associated with the lymphatic system and produce lymphocytes, which are a component of the immune system.
