What happens to the energy at each level as you move up the food pyramid?
The energy available to the next level is 10% of the previous level
When an organism consumes food from the previous trophic level, some of that energy is used for metabolism, growth, and tissue repair. The amount of energy obtained from the previous level is not all converted to biomass. Roughly ten percent of it is available for consumption.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
