What are the subclasses of lipids?

Answer 1

Lipids are small hydrophobic molecules which usually form structures like vesicles or membranes in the aqueous environment of the cell.

The chemical basis of the lipid classification system is the hydrophobic and hydrophilic components of a lipid.

fats, such as eicosanoids.

Glycerolipids, such as glycerol diacyl galactosyl.

phospholipid glycero, such as phosphatidyl choline.

Glycolipids, such as sphingomyelins

liver acids and other sterol lipids.

Prenol lipids, such as pigments

saccharolipids—glucosamine, for example.

polypeptides, such as the derivative of erythromycin.

These are separated into multiple subclasses.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
