Skeletal muscles are the big muscles that enable us to move voluntarily. Your biceps and triceps in your arms, your pectorals in your chest, your quadriceps in your front thighs, your hamstrings in your back thighs, your gastrocnemius in your calf, and your latissimus dorsi, which allows us to bend side to side, are all examples of skeletal muscles.
