The difference in valley and mountain breeze?
see below
Warm air rises and attracts air from the valley during the day because it is lighter than cold air, and because high mountains have larger thermal excursions (differences in temperature between night and day) than plains due to rarefied air and generally lower water vapor content. At night, however, because mountain temperatures drop more quickly than valley temperatures, the breeze originates from the mountains in the early morning and from the valley during the day.
