List four each of the following:causes of global warming, effects of the global warming on the environment, ways by which global warming can be reduced?

Answer 1
Causes of global warming: There are a few gases in the atmosphere, which if present in access, can raise the earths temperature. These are called greenhouse gases. some of these include #CO_2#, #H_2O#, #CH_3# & #N_2O#. When the amount of these gases in the atmosphere increases, it causes global warming.

Effects: As greenhouse gas concentrations rise, the earth's temperature rises and the climate becomes warmer; conversely, as greenhouse gas concentrations fall, the earth's temperature falls and the climate becomes colder.

Ways to reduce it: #-#Use of public transport wherever possible #-#If public transport is not available use carpool with friends and families #-#Plant more trees to reduce the amount of #CO_2# #-#Reduce, Reuse Recycle #-#Use cleaner fuels like CNG #-#Try saving energy #-#Spread awareness #-#Reduce waste

Answer 2

Causes of Global Warming:

  1. Carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels
  2. Deforestation and land use changes
  3. Methane emissions from agriculture and livestock
  4. Industrial processes and landfills releasing greenhouse gases

Effects of Global Warming on the Environment:

  1. Rising temperatures leading to heatwaves and droughts
  2. Melting polar ice caps and glaciers causing sea level rise
  3. Changes in precipitation patterns and increased intensity of storms
  4. Shifts in ecosystems and loss of biodiversity

Ways to Reduce Global Warming:

  1. Transitioning to renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power
  2. Improving energy efficiency in buildings, transportation, and industries
  3. Reducing deforestation and promoting afforestation and reforestation efforts
  4. Implementing policies to limit greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable practices

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
