Is it possible that life could exist on Jupiter?

Answer 1

Yes, but it would be strange, at least to us.

It is far more likely that one of Jupiter's moons is supporting life than the planet itself, since Jupiter is primarily a gas planet made of hydrogen and helium. Any living thing would have to survive on a diet of hydrogen, helium, and ammonia with a small amount of water.

Answer 2

Life as we know it is highly unlikely to exist on Jupiter due to its extreme environmental conditions, including its lack of a solid surface, extremely high atmospheric pressure, and temperatures that are far too cold for most forms of life. Additionally, Jupiter's atmosphere is composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, which are not suitable for sustaining life as we understand it.
