In the ouchterlony test, what happened when the antibody to horse serum albumin mixed with horse serum albumin?
A white precipitin line was visible in the agarose gel.
The Ouchterlony test is used to test whether an antibody-antigen interaction occurs.
For this assay an agarose gel is used in which holes are punched. The antibody (Ab) and antigen (Ag) samples are put inside the holes. During incubation of the agarose plate, the antibodies and antigens diffuse through the gel. When an interaction occurs they will stick together (agglutinate) and precipitate in the gel. This is visible as a white line.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
