The laws governing the world outside the black hole also apply to the world inside it; the only differences are that gravity is much stronger, relativistic effects are more pronounced, and light cannot escape. However, the idea that a black hole is a portal to another "dimension"—whatever that means—seems more science fiction than fact.

According to one theory, the entire mass of the universe would form a black hole that would be roughly the same size as the universe itself. This suggests that we may already be in a black hole at this very moment.

However, I haven't read the calculations behind this theory, so I'm not sure if it's a physicists' urban myth or an accurate estimate.
