So this must pass through #(8,10),(14,32)#

So in the equation put #y=10,x=8#

#10=alog_2 8+b#

#10=a*3+b " " (log_2 8= 3)#

Now put #y=14,x=32#

#14=a log_2 32+b#

#14=a*5+b# #log_2 32=5#

#14=3*a+b+2*a#

#14=10+2*a#

#4=2*a#

#2=a#

#10=3*2+b#

#10-6=b#

#b=4#

Answers #a=2, b=4#
