Here the wind turbine works a prime mover..THe wind moves the blades of wind turbine and the turbine rotate the generator.The mechanical energy produced by the turbine is converted into electrical energy..The things are not so simple. There are gears, requirements to keep the turbine in wind diction, the tower to keep the turbine at high level.
