How far can stellar parallax measure?
Radio Telescope technology seems to be so advanced that detailed images made by visible-light wave lengths can generate data (including distances) on far distant stars at millions of ly..
Parallax measurements on individual stars are limited. For distant groups (galaxies and clusters), the parallax measurements may be within 0.001" precision, allowing an approximation of the distance.
See the following reference for some information on the most recent advancements in radio telescope technology, including the ability to accurately calculate distance and other parameters and create images based on visible light wave length (using ten radio telescope antennas, ranging from Hawaii to the Caribbean).

Up to a few hundred light-years are the maximum distances that can be measured with stellar parallax; at larger distances, the angle of parallax becomes too small to measure with current instruments.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
