I hope this explanation is clear. Initially, when magma rises and erupts on the surface, it forms igneous rock. This rock then undergoes weathering, which can be physical, chemical, or biological. Eventually, it becomes sediments and begins to deposit on the surface. As sediments (particles) accumulate at the deposition site, they exert pressure on underlying sediments, which eventually becomes compact and forms sedimentary rock. Finally, when sedimentary rock is again buried deeply at conditions of temperature and pressure, it significantly transforms into Metamorphic rock. I hope this explanation is clear.
