How does pollution affect carbon cycle?

Answer 1

There are extra carbon it has to process through

There is simply not enough plant life to convert all of the carbon that is produced by burning coal, wood, fossil fuels, combustions, and other sources into oxygen. Other reactions also produce carbon-related molecules, like methane.

As a result, the excess carbon is not processed, which is detrimental to life as we know it. These extra carbon emissions also continue to accumulate year after year without being processed.

Answer 2

Pollution can disrupt the carbon cycle by releasing excessive amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, primarily through the burning of fossil fuels. This disrupts the balance of carbon dioxide absorption and release by natural processes, leading to increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide and contributing to global warming and climate change.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
