Concentration creates stress which is relieved by Le Chatelier's principle.
By shifting the reaction to the right toward the products, an increase in reactant concentration will lessen the stress that the concentration creates in the reaction.
The reaction will shift to the left of the reactants and lessen the stress brought on by the concentration if the concentration of the products is raised.

According to Le Chatelier's principle, when the concentration of a reactant or product in a chemical reaction is changed, the system will adjust to counteract that change and restore equilibrium. Increasing the concentration of a reactant will shift the equilibrium towards the products to consume the excess reactant, and vice versa. Similarly, increasing the concentration of a product will shift the equilibrium towards the reactants to consume the excess product, and vice versa.
