Open cast mines\
underground mines..In open cast mines the top layer of rocks are removed by earth mooing machines and coal can be collected.
In under ground mines deep cave like structure are made under earth and coal collected.

People obtain coal through mining, either through surface mining or underground mining. Surface mining involves removing layers of soil and rock to access coal deposits, while underground mining involves tunneling into the earth to extract coal from deeper deposits.
