How did galaxies form in the early universe?
Unknown
Though no theory has been developed yet, we know that galaxies formed approximately 500 million years after the big bang, but we do not know the mechanism involved.

Galaxies formed in the early universe through a process called hierarchical assembly. Gravity caused small fluctuations in the density of matter in the early universe to grow over time, eventually forming clumps of matter. These clumps attracted more matter through gravity, forming larger structures known as protogalaxies. Over time, these protogalaxies merged and evolved into the galaxies we observe today.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
