How can condensation be observed?

Answer 1

One easy and common way is to look at a mirror in your cool bathroom after you shower in very warm water. The mirror should be a little cloudy with moisture. That is due to condensation.

Take to lid off of a boiling pot of water and see the water drip off the lid? That is due to condensation.

Answer 2

Condensation can be observed in several ways, such as:

  1. Seeing water droplets form on a cold surface, like a glass of cold water on a warm day.
  2. Noticing fog or mist, which are composed of tiny water droplets in the air.
  3. Watching steam or vapor condense into water droplets on a mirror when you take a hot shower.
  4. Observing clouds in the sky, which are formed by the condensation of water vapor in the atmosphere.
