How are organic molecules related to all living things?

All living things are composed of organic molecules.

Some organic molecules are essential to life, such as the energy-carrying molecule, #"ATP"# and nucleic acids, #"RNA"# and #"DNA"#.

An organic molecule is a molecule that contains carbon-hydrogen bonds, i.e. it is some sort of a hydrocarbon.

In all living things, #"ATP"# is needed for the cells to get energy and respire to produce even more energy, and nucleic acids like #"DNA"# contain genetic information and data which is transferred to the offspring when an organism reproduces.
