Describe Athens: what immediately follows the Persian Wars?
Some historians believe that the final Greco-Persian Treaty between the Delian League and the Persian kingdom ended the Persian Wars (also collectively known as the Greco-Persian War).
After the Persians (overall) lost the Greco-Persian War, the Delian League coalesced into the Athenian Empire, but soon began to fracture due to disputes over the lands captured, eventually leading to the Peloponnesian War.
Do follow up in the comments below about the Peloponnesian War if you want to know more about it because I studied more on it compared to precursor Greco-Persian War. I hope this helps!
