Are there any pros and cons of excessive water usage?
According to me there is no advantages of using excessive water.
Excessive water usage may lead to water scarcity. Increased water usage for domestic purposes like washing clothes, utensils , bathing,etc. may lead to run off of water. You may find water shortage for basic needs afterwards. In agriculture it may lead to water logging and the crops might fail. If it even flows off, the pesticides and fertilisers used may flow with it and may pollute the nearby surface-water sources and the aquatic life in it may suffer. In the future there may be a drought like condition and we may find it hard to cope up with.
