According to Charles' law, what is the volume of a gas?

Answer 1

According to Charles Law the volume varies directly with the kinetic energy as measured by degree's K ( absolute temperature.)

The volume of a gas is a measure of kinetic energy. At absolute zero (# -273^oC# or #0 K^o# ) the volume of a gas is zero (for that matter the volume of a solid is also zero at this temperature.)

According to Charles law as the temperature increases the volume also increases.

Answer 2

According to Charles' law, the volume of a gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature, provided the pressure and the number of moles of the gas are held constant. Mathematically, it can be expressed as V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂, where V₁ and T₁ represent the initial volume and temperature, and V₂ and T₂ represent the final volume and temperature, respectively.

When evaluating a one-sided limit, you need to be careful when a quantity is approaching zero since its sign is different depending on which way it is approaching zero from. Let us look at some examples.
